When you take a step outside of your comfort zone and do something uncomfortable, your brain enters a highly receptive stake. Be spontaneous! Do something outside of your norm and you will find it to be very rewarding!
We’ve reached Step 12: Be Spontaneous! Oh, how I love this one. It’s one of my favorite steps to go out of my comfort zone since I find myself not doing anything spontaneous often. In time, you’ll see how rewarding this step can be when doing something out of the ordinary.


Be Spontaneous
Even if you just take an unplanned or impromptu step out of your comfortable surroundings in some small way, you put your brain in a highly receptive and alert state. When you catch yourself preparing your lunch at home at the same time you usually do, stop what you are doing and take a drive. Always watch a television show at a particular time? Right when it is about to begin, turn off your TV set and do something, anything, that is spontaneous and outside your regular routine. While this may be uncomfortable, it could prove very rewarding as well.
