When you make small changes to your daily routine and do everyday things differently, it can have a huge impact and help to bring you beyond the comfortable existence you are living. Take a step outside of your comfort zone and discover new things!
In the last post we covered Step 17 – Congratulate Yourself on Your Efforts, even if you failed. Now, let’s switch it up and do everyday things differently. Step 18 can lead you to discover new things.
If you live out in the country like I do, you can only imagine there are windy roads that lead you nowhere. That’s not true in my neck of the woods. A few weeks ago my husband and I decided to go for a drive to see where it will take us. We stumbled across a little shack that served the best burgers! It was like one of those hole in the wall places, except I call it a hole in the woods.
This was out of our normal routine on the weekends because we usually stay in, cook, and watch movies. And we don’t go out very often since everything is so far out. So, it was nice to feel a little adventurous, and discover a new place.
Do Everyday Things Differently

We are going to a Scottish dinner tonight honoring Robert Burns. I will enjoy the bagpipes but, the haggis will never cross my lips! There are limits on trying new things. 😉

I love this one! It’s great to break out of the routine of the same old streets. Being in the Northeast, everywhere is connected to everywhere else and there are so many possibilities!
