Our brain activity is wired to focus on our most predominant thoughts. When you visualize the benefits of doing something scary or uncomfortable, it can make it easier to take a step outside of your comfort zone and achieve great things!
Last week, we went through Step 8 – Take small, slow steps into uncomfortable territory. This week, Step 9 is seeing the benefits of taking those steps.

Visualize the Benefits of Doing Something Scary or Uncomfortable
The whole risk/reward relationship has kept people who “play it safe” from realizing their true potential for thousands of years. Before you take a step into uncharted and possibly scary territory, visualize in your mind the benefits and rewards of the perfect outcome. The unconscious mind drives your conscious activity toward your most predominant thought. Focus on the pluses, and not the negatives, of stepping outside of your comfort zone to achieve the greatest results.
You may play it safe at times, but learn how to challenge yourself with uncomfortable situations. It allows you to grow, and really see your true self come out of your comfort zone.
