Just like any holiday, you can make the best Valentine’s Day treats out of any snack or dessert! I’m not much of a baker, but I continue to experiment with new, baking techniques. Sometimes, it doesn’t even have to involve the oven.
I’m always looking for recipes, and ideas to try out. The last one I tried was Olaf cupcakes for a Holiday work party. Unfortunately, I failed miserably, but ended up with one little cute Olaf knock-off, a squared cake layered in fondant, in which, I accidentally left out the cream! See what I mean when I said I wasn’t a baker? Well, you live and you learn.
My next goal is to achieve one of these 7 sweet Valentine treats (except the last one, since it’s just popcorn in a bag). I chose 7 to help me narrow down the long list of goodies I came across. These are quite typical, but it will probably be recipes I will most likely make. Hopefully, I’ll get it right this time, and it will be delicious. Want to try it with me? See what satisfies your sweet tooth, and get the recipes below!
Alright, I’m a huge fan of this one and have been meaning to try it for the longest time. I always see these everywhere at baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, and birthday parties. They are incredibly good since the unsalted pretzel is not overwhelmingly dipped into the candy melt, which evens out the sweetness!

Who doesn’t love Oreos??? As if they aren’t sweet enough, this treat is similar to the one above. Also dipped in a pinkish candy melt to give it a Valentine’s twist!

Let’s get a little sweeter now with red velvet truffles. I think if you’re a lover of both these combined, you’ll want to try it. You can’t deny that they’re good on the go!

I remember growing up and always making Rice Krispie Treats with my mom. It was the easiest, and sweetest thing to make for school occasions, or parties. They can get a little sticky, so bare with the process if you’re making heart shapes out of them! Add more sweetness with a top layer dipped in candy melt.

I have to throw in cookies because almost everyone enjoys them. These are perfect for Valentine’s Day treats, too. Box them up, or set them nicely in a plastic bag with a ribbon!

Just like cookies, cupcakes have to make my list. This is probably one of the simple recipes as well, if you’re using pre-packaged batter already. So, it’s really just the decorating part that will take time. I think you can modify this by using red colored cream icing for the X and O’s, and hearts.

Aren’t these the cutest treats to give away? It doesn’t even involve any sweets! Just simply popcorn in a bag, and some labels.

I love Valentine’s Day. It doesn’t always have to be super romantic, instead, make it fun. Although I have my family, it’s nice to share it with close friends, too. So, let’s make some sweet treats, and celebrate!
