Live Happy Magazine has been influential in my life! I pull so many wonderful ideas and inspiration from the magazine and I want you to meet its’ creator Kym Yancey. I’m excited to share with you some of his greatest success and the things he finds most dear in his life.

The Happy Guy
Let me tell you right off the bat that this person is simply phenomenal. His charisma is contagious. He is, in essence, such a positive person that he can’t help it but spread that happiness around everyone and everything. Now THAT is a person I want around in my life! This person is Kym Yancey.
But how can I be influenced by all of his happiness if we don’t even live in the same state? Take a look: he is the CEO and Co-Founder of Live Happy Magazine, he made a forever-mark on this world with eWomenNetwork (we’ll be writing about Kym’s wife Sandra too), he’s an easy-to-follow entrepreneur and he is the executive producer of the GLOW Project, which is simply revolutionary, and a finalist for Inc. Magazine’s “Entrepreneur of the Year.”
Who is Kym Yancey?
Kym Yancey is such a motivation to me because he embraces the “all in” approach. He speaks from the heart and is always very open about his life, successes and failures alike. Isn’t that such a refreshing notion? His successful reputation makes him admirable, but his transparency makes him trustworthy. He tells it like it is and that makes me want to grow and pursue my happiness even more.
I recently met him in person at Lisa Sasevich’s Speak to Sell event in Las Vegas (I can’t believe I’m sharing publicly this awfully lit photo of me). A mutual friend introduced us (thanks Esther!). It was very special to meet Kym and talk to him about Live Happy. I remember getting the 2nd issue and was so bummed that somehow I had missed the first issue. Luckily for me, I was able to get the the back issue. Wouldn’t you know it that Gretchen Rubin graced the covers of an early issue!
Pursue Happiness
One of Kym’s favorite things to do is to be happy and to be a part of so many motivational endeavors. Helping others be happy makes one happy too, right? (Say that fast 5x!)
Did you know that Kym Yancey is an excellent musician and in an R&B and funk band named SUN? He has received numerous awards for his music. He plays the drums, he is a lead singer, he is a gold record winning composer and producer. Wow! What an inspiration! And what a way to relax and recharge. Music does soothe one’s soul.
I can just imagine him at work all day talking about how to spread happiness to others and then come home to play some tunes or sing some notes to relax and enjoy life.
Kym never knew he was known as The Happy Guy. He is so humble and inspiration!
