Who is Sandra Yancey?
Let me introduce you to a beautiful woman that you will never forget. Her name is Sandra Yancey. She is not only the wife of “The Happy Guy,” Kym Yancey of Live Happy Magazine, but she is the definition of “happiness and success” in her own merit.
Sandra is the Founder and CEO of eWomenNetwork, which networks over 300,000 women, empowering them to excel in life. She is an International Award-Winning Entrepreneur and is recognized by the International Alliance for Women as one of the world’s 100 Top Difference Makers. She is a philanthropist, giving cash grants to nonprofit organizations and scholarships to women leaders.
An Amazing World-Changer
Some of her best-selling books are:
- Succeeding In Spite of Everything
- Succeeding Through Doubt, Fear and Crisis
- Succeeding Against All Odds
- Relationship Networking: The Art of Turning Contacts into Connections
She’s also been featured in Chicken Soup for the Entrepreneur’s Soul. And speaking of encouragement, have you heard of The Glow Project yet? It is a movie that Sandra produced and it has impacted women’s lives everywhere it is watched. And now, it is a movement with a life of its own! You can find out more about it here.
I highly recommend you check out this years eWomenNetwork Entrepreneur Conference & Expo. It’s coming up in August in Texas and I imagine it will be packed.
Leading by Example
Sandra finds it encouraging and empowering to help others. Giving back is a great way to elevate your happiness and Sandra exemplifies this principle. She hosts Sandra Live – Sip, Tip and Talk and you can catch replays here.
“The happiest people create their own sunshine.” Sandra shared this motivational nugget recently.
She finds relaxation in letting go of the difficult things in life and rising above them. She defines success as “Being able to say ‘yes’ when she wants to say ‘yes’ and ‘no’ when she wants to say ‘no.’ Yes to a vacation, yes to a lunch with her daughter, yes to making a charitable donation and no to those things that don’t grow us, including toxic people in our lives.
One quote she lives by is “You can’t build a million-dollar dream hanging around minimum-wage mindsets.” Being and staying positive and finding the silver lining in every situation is the best advice I have received from her. What an amazing woman!
