I’m ecstatic today to share with you an amazing woman who has been an inspiration and support to me. Lisa Cypers Kamen is the voice behind Harvesting Happiness radio show, author of a brand new book, and an overall bringer of happiness to every life she touches!

I met Lisa last year through a mutual friend. She made an instant impression on me, and we immediately hit it off. I’m super excited to share that Lisa will be involved in an upcoming project that I’ll be launching in June!
Being Happy with Lisa Cypers Kamen
Lisa’s passion for positivity is rooted in her psychology background. She encourages people with trauma and life-crisis recovery every day. Her dedication to this cause lead her to create her own non-profit organization.
Harvesting Happiness for Heroes is dedicated to support for the men and women that serve the US armed forces. The driving force behind HH4Heros is to bring balance of mind, body and emotion resulting in greater overall well being. If you are looking for an organization to support, there are few better! This organization means even more to both myself and my VA, Marie, since we have ex-military family members, Marie herself included.
Are We Happy Yet?: Eight Keys to Unlocking a Joyful Life
I’m SO excited for Lisa and the release of her new book Are We Happy Yet? Lisa will be on tour all year long and I hope you have the opportunity to grab the book and chat with the author when she is near a location near you.
There are so many little nuggets of wisdom in this book. I found myself dog-tagging several corners as I do when I want to come back and share pieces with my readers. For example, Key #1: Life is tough, but happiness is available to all. In this chapter there is a quote that is perfect…”Being happy doesn’t mean everything is perfect. It means you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.” It sums up this key principle to a T. She also shares that “the stories you tell yourself must empower you not hold you back.”
If you can get your hands on a book at one of Lisa’s book signings, I promise it’s money well spent.
Enjoy Time Together
Since happiness is not something that Lisa views as something you turn off or on, but rather work to have in your life each day, it’s easy to say that Lisa enjoys her life by spreading happiness. Lisa took her daughter on a wonderful journey, traveling around the United States and abroad, asking people about their happiness. The final result? H-Factor…Where Is Your Heart?
What a wonderful experience to share with your daughter. Finding a way to share your passion with your family and create memorable happy moments in the process.
