We took the train from York, England to Edinburgh, Scotland. This is the Marriott Hotel we stayed at in Edinburgh, the Dalmahoy. Kind of cool looking, right?

We spend the first afternoon in Edinburgh just walking their main street.

We caught a glimpse of a bagpiper.

This is St. Giles. St. Giles in Edinburgh is recognized as having one of the finest organs in Europe and while we were there, the organist was playing; one could just sit in the pews and listen to the beautiful music.

At Camera Obsura one can see mirrors of Illusions, lights and lenses. You can stretch to new heights.

And you can see two of yourself. (that’s me in the middle taking the picture).

This was our favorite pub in Edinburgh, or I should say it was Cory’s favorite pub.

This is where we got hooked on Scotland’s Tennents ale. This became our favorite beer of the trip. (there will be another post on pubs and ales soon – as we were on a mission to try them all!)
