Aruba – Driving Around the Island – Day 2 Part 2: We started Day 2 roaming the rims of the island in part 1. As we continue our exploration, we flew around the mid section of the island. Rob was driving while Val and I stuck our heads out to snap tons of images of all the bright colorful houses. As you get to know me, I truly love bright colors. They somehow set a happy mood for me, and always brightens my day. I fell in love with all the colorful houses around the island. We hit the south end of the island by the end of the day. There were just a few structures/homes and we caught a woman feeding and watering her cows. You also wouldn’t think you’d find cactus on Aruba. I’m sure we all picture the tropical ground coverings since it is so tropical but Aruba really does boast a range of landscapes.As we photographed the windmills below, we found some wild goats. But as I got closer to take photographs of the goats, it got a bit eerie. It sounded a bit like gunfire, I’m guessing it was fire crackers, but either way the people in the shack on the beach didn’t like how close I was. We made our way through the mid-section, and our day is almost over! There is one more stop we have to make as it completes our exploration on Day 2. Join us for Day 2 Part 3!
