Aruba – No Farting Sign: Was amusing! It certainly made our day as we toured through the island. I apologize for the blurriness, but I was running out of the store where we stopped on the eastern side of Aruba and my eyes caught this sign. I couldn’t stop laughing!
This store was the only stop for miles. It had one little old guy running it, and it also cost us 50 cents to use the restroom-well worth the price when you have to go! We were hungry and bought a traditional Aruba snack called Pastechi- a small pie filled with cheese, beef, or chicken. It was delicious.
The little guy who ran the store kept calling me ‘blondie’. When I tipped him for preparing our food, he just smiled and again said ‘Thanks blondie.’ An experience I’ll always laugh about.
