I hope you’ve survived through the Christmas holiday! We’re a few days from New Year’s Eve, and it’s a great idea to prepare storage units and labels to put your Christmas decorations away. However, if you’re like me, I like keeping it around until after New Years. Get organized now with these Christmas storage ideas.
Christmas Storage Ideas
Ornament Storage
Having a storage chest like the Holiday Wing-Lid box below is perfect for ornaments. It keeps glass, wood, or ceramic ornaments in place and prevents clinging and damaging. It can hold 75 ornaments with each section measuring approximately at 3.5′ x 3.5′. It’s such a great space saver and inexpensive. I use mine every year, and it hasn’t worn down a bit. My ornaments are as shiny as ever.
Christmas Tree Storage
I can’t tell you how much this tree storage bag comes in handy. I usually keep the original box for my tree, but it doesn’t keep the dust and bugs away. Remember, you are storing this for almost a whole year, so things can easily pile up into dust! This bag is super convenient and durable for its price. It’s so easy to zip up that Christmas happiness so it’s ready for next year!
Christmas Light Storage
Talk about being tangled up. Christmas lights can easily frustrate you. Untangle the stress and wrap your lights around these reels. I only have about 3 strings of lights, so it holds well. One of the perks to the reels is also having the storage bag for packing.
Wrapping Paper Storage
Before my organizing days, I used to always have trouble finding tape, scissors, ribbons, bows, tags, and wrapping paper at home. Having them all in one storage bag with compartments is quite wonderful. This doesn’t necessarily apply only to Christmas, but other gift wrapping you may have for other holidays as well. Now, you can easily put these items away and find them all in one place.
Keep in mind that having extra bins with compartments are completely helpful. Even the most unorganized person can easily manage to store things away neatly. One last thing you’ll need:

Storage Labels
You’ll be thankful to have reusable labels! They make life easier when searching for something in storage. When I started organizing things around the house, I found these Jokari Labels that can be written on and be erased when I needed to change a label name. It’s definitely worth it!

Alright folks, you should be in the clear for a Happy New Year! Happy Storing!
