If you’re ever thinking about getting CPR Certified, you can with the American Red Cross. Back in 2010, Cory and I both attended the American Red Cross training for CPR. We are now both certified. Just learning the basic knowledge of CPR can help in case of any emergency. We also are planning to take the basic trauma care training and other first aid classes, too. Here comes the written test, which wasn’t too bad. I’m glad we got the chance to do this, and know that we can apply these skills if ever needed. Saving the lives of others is important, but I hope we never need to use it.

  1. Knowing this training is so important. My husband used to coordinate the trainings in our area. It has been a while since I have have attended a class. We should both probably get re-certified, especially with a little one!

  2. It has been years since I took a class. This is a very important skill to learn and have for those emergencies.

  3. We did Red Cross training for work. I think everyone needs to do it, especially anyone around kids. I will say I am glad LT is an EMT so he can deal with emergencies. He is better equipped, but I could in a pinch.

  4. They offer CPR training at my job. I wasn’t able to take the class last year, but look forward to doing so this year. It is so vital for everyone.

  5. I’m actually in the process of coordinating renewal of certificates for my office. It really is an important skill to have.
