When we moved into the new house, Cory was fed up with my plastic water bottles that I accumulated throughout the week. My car was often like the scene from the movie Bad Santa, when Billy Bob Thornton opened the car door, and beer bottles fell out, but in my case, it was water bottles. I knew it was time to come up with an alternative in eliminating plastic bottles out of my life.
As a big fan of sparkling water, Cory bought me my first sparkling water machine for my birthday. It was a Primo station that lasted a few months before it broke down. He then immediately replaced it with a souped up Sodastream machine and we became part of the Sodastream revolution. This was my alternative in getting rid of plastic bottles, and I couldn’t be happier.
There are so many advantages now to owning this machine:
1) No more plastic water bottles collecting dust. Every step helps to be a bit more green.
2) I can have sparkling water at any time and I’m never out.
3) I can also make other sparkling drinks with added flavors such as lemonade, orange, or grape-you name it.
I can happily say…BYE BYE Plastic!
