I firmly believe that ‘life is what you make it‘. If you want to be happy, successful, and healthy, you will. At times, it might be easier said than done, but I’ve had some reality checks recently on a personal level that reminded me how much we control our outlook on life.

Life is What You Make It
I have honestly learned that I cannot love someone else before loving myself. As selfish as it may sound, it’s very true. When I was growing up, I’ve always set out to be independent and making the most of myself, and that’s exactly what happened. I learned how to cook more than scrambled eggs, learned how to grow my own garden, raise chickens I love, and most importantly, waking up everyday knowing who I am. But one day, I fell in love with my husband, Cory, and
learning to love someone else makes life much sweeter.
I think relationships help you learn about who you are, and where you stand in life. This goes as much for long-lasting friendships, too. I always find myself around creative, innovative, and inspirational leaders. And these people constantly inspire me to reach my goals.
With two companies in my hands, and my newly inspired lifestyle blog, I couldn’t be happier with the success and progress I’ve made. I honestly couldn’t have done it without my team who are always working hard to lead us to the top.
With happy relationships and success underway,
being healthy is a key component in life.
Some old friends use to say, “Why do you care about being healthy, we’re all going to die eventually.” Yes, but I’d rather see my life through by staying healthy and active, than sick and unhappy.
I like to enjoy a glass of wine here and there, and that doesn’t mean I have to binge drink to have the time of my life. Eating clean, and exercising is a lifestyle, and sometimes you just have to make your choice.
I’ve never felt better, and with more energy. I also never take things for granted. I live life everyday-simple, and thankful for each day. You are the only one who can make yourself happy.
In self-discovery, healthy living is a happy home.
