Towards the end of our stay in London, we planned a morning at the laundromat. We found one close to this wonderful local grocery store called Greensmiths. They were fantastic! They have this wonderful fresh produce section.

While we had laundry going, we were able to get a good cup of coffee and breakfast at Greensmiths.

They even had their own butcher shop. Everything was so fresh.

Right across the street from Greensmiths was Greggs, a very enticing bakery. It was a gold mine of an area – off the beaten path in the heart of locals.

Later in the day we went to the Bank of England, the London Stock Exchange, and into the Bank of England Museum. The Bank of England is a beautiful building.

Cory loved this museum! Surprisingly to me, I enjoyed it immensely, too. It’s a lovely museum and probably not the most sought out tourist attraction. They were very cognizant of teaching kids about the history of money and the financial system. And we were able to hold a gold bar! Those suckers are super heavy!!!!
