On Tuesday (April 26) we did a bit of everything. We road the infamous red double decker buses, we cruised the River Thames, and we hit a few notorious spots that were on our lists to see. First off we wanted to go to Baker Street – more precisely – 221b Baker Street to see the Sherlock Holmes museum.
The gentleman out front was exactly what one would expect. 🙂 Inside the museum contained paraphernalia of all sorts pertaining to Sherlock Holmes.
Next up was the Travel Bookshop in Notting Hill. The famous bookstore from the Julie Roberts movie Notting Hill. I was able to purchase a few cards for friends from the bookstore that were super unique.
Later in the day, we cruised the River Thames. Seeing the Tower Bridge from the water perspective was pretty awesome.
You go under the London Bridge, which many I think confuse for the Tower Bridge since the Tower Bridge is the more elaborate looking bridge. The London Bridge is really quite ordinary.
From the water (and later from the ground) we spied the Tower of London, which was on our agenda for Wednesday…so stay tuned!
