On Day 2 of our trip to London we walked through St James Park to Buckingham Palace, then onwards through Hyde Park to Kensington Palace. St. James Park is really very nice and at the time we left in the morning, as you can see below, there was no one else on the paths yet.

We watched the signs and made sure to stop at a variety of places along the way, including the Princess Diana Memorial.

Hyde park is massive. It was a very nice week as far as weather goes, in fact this day was Easter Sunday and it was record breaking warm weather from what we were told.On Day 2 of our trip to London we walked through James Park - Hyde Park - and Kensington Palace. It was amazing to see so many locals already out at the park basking in the sun. I know that Londoners don’t get as much sun as they would like, but when it’s out, they are sure to take advantage of soaking in the rays.

I’m not exactly sure what these little furry guys are…but they were the cutest ever. These two seemed to be a pair and stuck together.

As we reached Kensington Palace, the gardens were breathtaking. Right out of a movie! I could sit and stare at this garden all day.

The Orangery restaurant on the grounds of Kensington Palace is famous for its tea. As you can see people were taking advantage of sitting outside for a change and using the umbrellas. The grass was so perfectly green. I need their gardener!

It’s been quite the day 2 in London, and there’s nothing like ending it with some tea with this fantastic view.
