A passing of someone close to you can make you realize how short life is. I’m honored to share with you some wonderful inspirational quotes to live by in honor of an amazing and inspirational woman!
With my grandmother’s passing, it only made me realize how good of a life she lived. Not many people are fortunate enough to live for 80 years and stay in good health. She has really inspired me to share inspirational quotes to live by. I hope these quotes are a mantra to remind us that life is full of happiness, love, and peace. Living it is pure bliss.
Inspirational Quotes to Live By
The last year moving in the country has made me love my life so much more. The outdoors is just serene. I can’t stress how quiet and peaceful it is.
Life is short, but do what you love. Do what makes you happy.
Here is a list of inspirational quotes that you should remind yourself of every day:
1. Create the life you want. You control your choices.
2. Create good habits.
3. Say I love you and say if often.
4. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
5. Don’t go to bed angry.
6. Live each day as if it were your last.
7. Don’t hold grudges.
8. Work will be there tomorrow. Your family may not be.
Life is what you make it. Keep these inspirational words to live by in your heart.

Hi Marie! One of my most favorite quotes comes from my husband Thom. He came up with it years ago and it stuck. It says, “Every day we can choose to be happy, loving and live life to its fullest–remember, we get to make it up.” As long as I remember that, life is GOOD! ~Kathy
Love your post and Marie’s comment as well. Every day we can make a choice about how we perceive the world and our surroundings. I have a friend who’s finished a rough course of cancer treatments, and he’s always in a bad mood. He understands how lucky he is but just can’t get over the hump and embrace this great life. I had cancer, so I understand where he’s coming from and am hoping he has an ah-ha moment. Brenda
Treat others the way you want to be treated is one of the most important things I tried to teach my boys.
I’m sorry for your loss. This post is a lovely tribute to her.
Thank you Karen.
